Over the past eighteen months, I have worked intensively with Columbia University’s Center for Teaching and Learning to complete the Advanced Track of their Teaching Development Program. It’s been far more than a box-ticking exercise; my thinking and practice about pedagogy and inclusive methods have changed radically in that time and supported tremendous growth (at least, I think so in retrospect) in my classrooms and for my intentionality and motivations as an instructor.
